We are now recruiting for the upcoming season of events at Heinz Field. These events will include the Pittsburgh Steelers and University of Pittsburgh home games, concerts and special events.

Heinz Field is a state-of-the-art facility that is looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to perform behind the scenes in various capacities. Opportunities may be with either Heinz Field or one of its vendors – the position description will clarify who the employer will be. Club Staff

Club Attendant:

    As a Club Team Member, you will be responsible for several tasks throughout and around our four Club Levels. Club Team Members are positioned at escalators, elevator lobbies, and entry/exit doors to ensure an efficient and helpful arrival, in game experience, and egress for our fans. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Possessing and displaying an in-depth knowledge of the stadium layout and policies
  • Assisting guests with questions and directions coming onto the Club Level
  • Verbally greeting all guests in a friendly and polite manner
  • Checking/scanning all tickets and credentials for guests entering the Club Level
  • Assisting ADA patrons by escorting them via wheelchair from the Club to the closest exit
  • Setting up and tearing down of game day promotions throughout the Club Level

Suite/Club Cleaner:

  • Post-event cleaning of Clubs & Luxury Suites.

Event Staff:

  • Cleaning and maintaining concourses and restrooms during events.

Event Staff Supervisor:

  • Directs and works along with event/game day staff.

Pressure Washer:

  • Post-event pressure washing of seating areas and concourses.

Blower:

  • Post event clean-up/blowing in seating areas and concourses.

Supervisor:

  • Overseeing of post-event cleaning staff.

Landmark Event Staffing Services

Event Staff:

  • Landmark Event Staffing Services provides crowd management and event staffing services for Steelers and University of Pittsburgh football games, and other special events at Heinz Field.
  • We also provide services for concerts and other venues in the Pittsburgh region.

Event Managers

    Event Manager duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Seat Attendant Supervisor:

  • Responsible for overseeing a select number of Seat Attendants.
  • Assist seat attendants with greeting patrons and monitoring/supervising seating sections.
  • Assist seat attendants by preventing patrons from obstructing others views’ by walking to their seats while a play is in action.
  • Brief designated seat attendants prior to event on their specific responsibilities and job duties.
  • Responsible for enforcing all Heinz Field policies and procedures.
  • Assist city service personnel (police, EMS, etc.) and other building staff when needed.
  • Must excel in verbal and written communication

Ticket Taker Supervisor:

  • Responsible for overseeing a select number of Ticket Takers and Gate Watchers.
  • Assist Ticket Takers with greeting patrons and monitoring/supervising turnstiles.
  • Assist Ticket Takers with ticket scanner issues.
  • Brief designated Ticket Takers and Gate Watchers prior to event on their specific responsibilities and job duties.
  • Responsible for enforcing all Heinz Field policies and procedures.
  • Assist city service personnel (police, EMS, etc.) and other building staff when needed.
  • Must excel in verbal and written communication.

Requirements for ALL Event Manager positions include:

  • Must commit to work all Heinz Field events, including Pittsburgh Steelers football games, the University of Pittsburgh football games, concerts, etc

Guest Services

Guest Services Attendant:

    The Guest Services Attendant is a broad position that may be responsible for many different tasks on an event day. These tasks may include:

  • Possessing and displaying an in-depth knowledge of the stadium layout and policies
  • Assisting ADA patrons by escorting them via wheelchair from the gates to their seats
  • Directing guests inside the stadium to the proper section, concession stand or other area
  • Answering any and all questions, assisting with all needs and request of our guests
  • The best candidates will possess a passion for providing the best possible customer service

Report Taker:

    The Report Taker position is designed to gather and systematically input information on event day incidents and issues into various computer databases.

  • Responsible for gathering information about incidents from other stadium staff, city police and patrons
  • Responsible for combining all necessary information and entering it into carious Heinz Field reporting software
  • Excellent communication skills are a necessity
  • Must possess above average computer skills and a willingness to learn new software
  • The best candidates will be detail orients while being able to communicate with multiple people

Elevator Operator:

    The Elevator Operator position is responsible for operating passenger elevators. The key to this position is an ability to briefly entertain and escort guests to the proper level of the stadium.

  • Responsible for verbally greeting guests
  • Operate the elevators to take guests to various levels
  • Answer guests questions and direct them to the correct level of the stadium
  • The best candidates will love interacting with guests and answering questions

Merchandise

Store Cashier and Store Associate:

    Gift Shop employee duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for greeting guests, answering questions on merchandise and ringing up of sales.
  • Responsible for running the cash register, counting and balancing drawers
  • Handle refunds and gift card transactions
  • Help with sizes and styles
  • Slight housekeeping, keeping the store neat and orderly. Sweeping, dusting and window cleaning
  • Stock replenishment, arrange merchandise in the store. Unpack boxes and sort hangers
    All employees are hired as equals. All employees must be willing to cashier, as well as assist customers on the sales floor. Management determines what position and store you will work in. Employees are not guaranteed to remain in the same place for each event.

 

These are union positions which fall under Local 250 Union. If hired for either position, you would be required to join the Local 250 and incur any costs/fees associated.

Requirements:

  • Must commit to work all Heinz Field events, including Pittsburgh Steelers football games, the University of Pittsburgh football games and possibly concerts, etc.
  • Employees are expected to be in full uniform at all times
  • Employees are expected to abide by all Heinz Field security guidelines
  • Must be available to work some evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Game times vary and are subject to change on occasion
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Maintain a professional appearance

    The Luxury Suite Attendant position is responsible for providing superior customer service to our suite level guests.

  • Possessing and displaying an in-depth knowledge of the stadium layout and policies
  • Assisting ADA patrons by escorting them via wheelchair from their suite to the nearest gate
  • Responsible for greeting guests
  • Scanning of tickets while following ticketing guideline and procedures
  • Answering stadium, event day and other various questions with ease
  • Performing pre and post event suite inspections as assigned
  • Quickly and efficiently responding to special requests from suite guests
  • Solving problems according to Luxury Suite/Heinz Field policies
  • Excellent communication skills a must

Ticket Seller:

    Ticket Seller duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for verbally greeting guests.

  • Distributing Will Call tickets in an efficient manner

  • Ensuring that all NCAA policies and procedures are followed to prevent compliance issues for the University of Pittsburgh

50/50 Raffle Ticket Sellers:

    The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking for employees to sell 50/50 Raffle tickets during each home game. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Using a kiosk to sell raffle tickets or walking around the stadium selling tickets using a handheld device
  • Responsible and held accountable for all cash sales throughout the night and reconciling the devices correctly throughout the game

Qualifications:

  • Prior sales experience is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and a team player who can work in a fast paced environment
  • Must possess exceptional oral communication skills
  • Maintain a professional appearance – a dress code is required
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances around the stadium in various weather conditions

ARAMARK NPO Program

 

Are you looking for new great ways to fundraise for your Non-Profit Organization, School Sports Team or Church? Join the ARAMARK Heinz Field NPO Program!

We are currently looking for new groups to join our NPO program and help run our concession stands for Steelers and Pittsburgh Panthers home games. All groups must have a 501c3 designation and be able to participate in training prior to working an event. For every game you volunteer, ARAMARK will donate a percentage of the sales to your organization.

All positions with Aramark require a flexible schedule and the ability to lift 25 lbs and remain on feet for eight (8) hours per shift. Age Requirement is 18 years or older.

Suite Server:

  • Responsible for pre-event Luxury Suite set up, serving food and beverage in the Suites, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Serving experience required.

Game Day Supervisor:

  • Responsible for supervising a staff of 30-60 employees per event.
