The Steelers are encouraging fans to arrive early to enjoy in-stadium pregame activities for the team’s regular season home game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, September 30. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. and all gates will open at 6:30 p.m. Parking lots will open at 3:30 p.m. and the Will Call ticket window (Gate B) will open at 5:30 p.m.
A fireworks display will take place at various time throughout the night, presented by Zambelli Fireworks. Fireworks will be visible to all fans seated inside Heinz Field during pregame and halftime.
HISPANIC LEADERSHIP AWARD
The NFL and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation have partnered for the 8th Annual NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Awards during Hispanic Heritage Month. The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Rosana Elena Guernica, a student at Carnegie Mellon University, to receive this award on their behalf. Guernica raised over $250,000 and executed five humanitarian missions to Puerto Rico.
GABBY BARRETT ON-FIELD PERFORMANCE
Pittsburgh-native and American Idol Star Gabby Barrett will perform two songs on the field during the pregame presentation. Barrett will also perform the National Anthem, accompanied by the United States Coast Guard Color Guard.
TERRIBLE TOWEL TWIRL
Before each Steelers game, a select group will perform the terrible towel twirl on the field near the Steelers’ player tunnel. As a part of Hall of Honor Weekend, this week’s Terrible Towel Twirl will be led by 2017 Hall of Honor Inductees Dermontti Dawson and Rod Woodson.
COACH OF THE WEEK
Freedom Area High School Head Coach Russ Barley will be honored as the High School Coach of the week at the two-minute warning in the first half. Coach Barley has led the Bulldogs to their best start in 25 years, outscoring their opponents 145-6.
2018 HALL OF HONOR INDUCTION
Created in 2017, the Steelers Hall of Honor seeks to commemorate key individuals who have contributed greatly to the franchise. This year, the Steelers announced the induction of Buddy Dial, Bill Nunn, Art Rooney Jr., Alan Faneca and Rocky Bleier. These individuals will be honored in a special halftime presentation, led by Larry Richert.
ATI SALUTE TO HEROES
The ATI Salute to Heroes features a local military hometown hero at each game during the first break of the 3rd quarter. This week’s hero Sgt. Geoff Monsour of the US Marine Corp and Air Force Reserves.
STAGE AE TAILGATE ZONE
Fans are encouraged to stop at Stage AE, the Official Tailgate Zone of the Steelers. Admission is free and the doors open at 4 p.m. House of Soul will be performing at Stage AE and fans will be able to participate in Steelers prize giveaways, including autographed items. Food and drink specials will be available during the tailgate.

Before each game, fans are invited to participate in free activities along Art Rooney Ave. outside of the stadium three hours prior to kickoff. Fans can purchase food and drinks while enjoying experiences inside the Gameday Live Tents, a meet-and-greet with Steely McBeam, take photos with giant inflatable Steelers gloves, enter to win prizes from various Steelers partners and more.

DJ Steve Maffei Jr. will be playing music for fans from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The Ford Fan Zone is located under the scoreboard in the south end zone and features activities for fans at each home Steelers game. This week, Steelers Legend Charlie Batch will meet fans for photo opportunities from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
