The Steelers are encouraging fans to arrive early to enjoy in-stadium pregame activities for the team’s regular season home game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, October 28. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and all gates will open at 11 a.m. Parking lots will open at 8 a.m. and the Will Call ticket window (Gate B) will open at 10 a.m.  


NFL PLAY 60 SKILLS COMPETITION (approx. 11:30 a.m.) In 2007, the NFL launched NFL PLAY 60, a national youth health and fitness campaign focused on increasing the wellness of young fans by encouraging them to be active for at least 60 minutes a day. To celebrate, the Steelers will host the Carnegie Boys and Girls Club and Shadyside Boys and Girls Club in an on-field skills competition, led by Steelers Legend Charlie Batch. PLAYER INTRODUCTIONS PLAY 60 TUNNEL (approx. 12:54 p.m.) Students from Linden Elementary will form a tunnel for player introductions outside of the southwest end zone tunnel. NATIONAL ANTHEM (approx. 12:57 p.m.) Pittsburgh legend Donnie Iris will perform the National Anthem as part of his year-long 75th Birthday Celebration. Iris will be joined by the United States Army Color Guard. TERRIBLE TOWEL TWIRL (approx. 1:01 p.m.) Before each Steelers game, a select group will perform the terrible towel twirl on the field near the Steelers’ player tunnel. The Towel Twirl will be led by NASA Astronaut Michael Fincke, from Emsworth PA. Fincke is the veteran of three space flights and has spent over 381 days in orbit. COACH OF THE WEEK (2nd quarter) The Steelers will honor Elizabeth Forward Head Coach Mike Collodi as the Week 5 Coach of the Week, and Leechburg Head Coach Mark George as the Week 6 Coach of the Week. FLAG FOOTBALL GAME (Halftime) The Carnegie Boys and Girls Club and Shadyside Boys and Girls Club will again take the field for a halftime flag football game. ATI SALUTE TO HEROES (3rd quarter) The ATI Salute to Heroes features a local military hometown hero at each game during the first break of the 3rd quarter. This week, the team will honor Sargent John J. Duffy of the U.S. Army. Duffy, of Whitehall, PA, was a Green Beret serving as long-range reconnaissance in the 75th infantry during the Vietnam War. Duffy was awarded four Purple Hearts, one Silver Star, two Bronze Stars and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, among other awards.  


STAGE AE TAILGATE ZONE Fans are encouraged to stop at Stage AE, the Official Tailgate Zone of the Steelers. Admission is free, and the doors open at 9 a.m. Radio Tokyo will be performing at Stage AE and fans will be able to participate in Steelers prize giveaways, including autographed items. Food and drink specials will be available during the tailgate. Fans will be led from Stage AE to the stadium approximately 60-minutes before kickoff by the Steelers Nation Unite Fan Parade and the Steeline Drumline. Visit for more information. ART ROONEY AVENUE Before each game, fans are invited to participate in free activities along Art Rooney Ave. outside of the stadium three hours prior to kickoff. Fans can purchase food and drinks while enjoying experiences inside the Gameday Live Tents, a meet-and-greet with Steely McBeam, take photos with giant inflatable Steelers gloves, enter to win prizes from various Steelers partners and more.  


FREE Wi-Fi The Steelers offer free Wi-Fi for all fans throughout Heinz Field. More information will be provided once fans enter the stadium. 50-50 RAFFLE For all home games in 2018, the Steelers have a 50/50 raffle with proceeds benefiting local charities. One fan will take home half the prize, and for this game, the other half will benefit the Steelers Charities Youth Football Fund. For more information regarding the 50/50 raffle, please visit 1st-IN-GOAL The Pittsburgh Steelers will reward fans who arrive early with free prizes and giveaways as part of the team’s 1st-IN-GOAL promotion, presented by Steelers Nation Unite. The first 25,000 fans to enter Heinz Field for Sunday’s game vs. the Cleveland Browns will receive a scratch-off card revealing a prize. TJ The DJ will be playing music for fans starting at 11 a.m. FORD FAN ZONE The Ford Fan Zone is located under the scoreboard in the south end zone and features activities for fans at each home Steelers game. This week, Steelers Legend Robin Cole will meet fans for photo opportunities from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. STEELERS NATION UNITE Steelers Nation Unite is the official home of Steelers Nation.
