The Steelers are encouraging fans to arrive early to enjoy in-stadium pregame activities for the team’s regular season home game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, December 2. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. and all gates will open at 6:30 p.m. Parking lots will open at 3:30 p.m. and the Will Call ticket window (Gate B) will open at 5:30 p.m.


SUPER BOWL XIII AND XLIII PRESENTATION (approx. 8:03 p.m.) As part of Alumni Weekend, the Steelers will present a video tribute to the Super Bowl XIII and XLIII Championship teams. NATIONAL ANTHEM (approx. 8:16 p.m.) Detective Sgt. Richard Manning, an 18-year veteran of the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office and a member of the Violent Crimes Task Force, will perform the National Anthem. He will be joined by the Pittsburgh Police Color Guard. TERRIBLE TOWEL TWIRL (approx. 8:18 p.m.) Before each Steelers game, a select group will perform the terrible towel twirl on the field near the Steelers’ player tunnel. The Towel Twirl will be led by Steelers Legends Joe Greene and Brett Keisel. COACH OF THE WEEK (2nd quarter) The Steelers will honor Central Valley Head Coach Mark Lyons as the Week 9 Coach of the Week, and Woodland Hills Head Coach Tim Bostard as the Week 10 Coach of the Week. ALUMNI WEEKEND RECOGNITION (Halftime) The Steelers welcome back 59 former players and their families in an on-field presentation during halftime. Each player will have been a member of the Super Bowl XIII and XLIII Championship teams. A video highlight of top plays from both games will air as the players are introduced. ATI SALUTE TO HEROES (3rd quarter) Each game, the Steelers honor a member of our armed forces in the ATI Salute to Heroes. This week, the team will honor Nanty Glo, Pa native Sgt. Justin Schilling of the US Marine Corps.


STAGE AE TAILGATE ZONE Fans are encouraged to stop at Stage AE, the Official Tailgate Zone of the Steelers. Admission is free and the doors open at 4:30 p.m. My Hero Zero will perform starting at 6 p.m. and fans will be able to participate in Steelers prize giveaways, including autographed items. Food and drink specials will be available during the tailgate. Fans will be led from Stage AE to the stadium approximately 60-minutes before kickoff by the Steelers Nation Unite Fan Parade and the Steeline Drumline. Visit for more information. ART ROONEY AVENUE Before each game, fans are invited to participate in free activities along Art Rooney Ave. outside of the stadium three hours prior to kickoff. Fans can purchase food and drinks while enjoying experiences inside the Gameday Live Tents, a meet-and-greet with Steely McBeam, take photos with giant inflatable Steelers gloves, enter to win prizes from various Steelers partners and more.


FREE Wi-Fi The Steelers offer free Wi-Fi for all fans throughout Heinz Field. More information will be provided once fans enter the stadium. 50-50 RAFFLE For all home games in 2018, the Steelers have a 50/50 raffle with proceeds benefiting local charities. One fan will take home half the prize, and for this game, the other half will benefit The United Way. Fans will be able to listen to great music while visiting the Steelers Walk of Fame, touring the Hall of Honor and enjoying food and drinks from nearby concessions stands. DJ Steve Maffei Jr. will be playing music for fans starting at 6:30 p.m. 1st-IN-GOAL The Pittsburgh Steelers will reward fans who arrive early with free prizes and giveaways as part of the team’s 1st-IN-GOAL promotion, presented by Steelers Nation Unite. The first 25,000 fans to enter Heinz Field on gameday will receive a scratch-off card revealing a prize.
